Summer Solstice Yoga Retreat

At the peak of the sun’s journey, we gather to celebrate the solstice – not just as a turning of the seasons, but as a turning within. This retreat is an invitation to let the light in and to feel light: to release what weighs you down, trust your body and the universe, and move through life with a heart as open as the summer sky.
Here, lightness is both luminous and free. It’s the glow of the sun at its zenith and the ease of stepping lightly on the earth. It’s the trust that comes when you accept things as they are, and the joy of remembering that you are already enough – just as you are, in the body you have, exactly where you stand.

A Retreat for Every Body.
This is a space for all bodies, all levels, all hearts. Whether you’re seeking strength, softness, or simply a place to belong, you’ll find practices and people that meet you where you are. No experience is needed – only the willingness to be, exactly as you are. We’ll hold this space for you to be safe and playful.

What We’ll Explore Together:
✨ Kriyas & Purification: Cleanse body and mind, creating space for fresh energy and clarity.
🕯 Trataka (Candle Gazing Meditation) – a meditative Kriya to steady the mind and connect with the flame of awareness.
🌿 Moving Meditations: Flow into presence with gentle, mindful movement – light on your feet, light in your heart.
🔥 Hatha Vinyasa Yoga: Strengthen, ground, and awaken your inner sun, building vitality and trust in your body’s wisdom.
🌙 Yin Yoga: Soften into stillness, restoring the lunar balance within, releasing tension and inviting ease.
🎶 Mantra Chanting Circle: Barefoot in the garden, voices rising together in joy and vibration as the light fades – returning to the heart of sound and community.

Space to Breathe, Reflect, and Be.
Between practices, there will be time for quiet reflection, journaling, walking in nature, or simply resting under the wide summer sky. As day melts into evening, we’ll gather again – to sing, to breathe, to celebrate lightness in all its forms.

This retreat is for you if:
You long to feel light—free in body, heart, and spirit.
You want to trust yourself and the universe a little more.
You crave a space where all bodies are celebrated, and no one is left behind.

I’m all about embracing the traditional roots of Hatha Yoga with a twist of modern mindfulness and flow. My passion lies in the challenges that both life and yoga present. From the physical postures on the mat to the mental and emotional hurdles we encounter off it. Breathing is my mantra, and meditation in the forest is my compass. With a background in Anthropology and Psychotherapy, I’m not just here to guide you through poses, together, we’ll dive into the essence of yoga with a bit of fun, finding strength in every breath, stillness in every posture, and a profound connection to the higher self. About Rossana:
I specialize in functional Hatha Vinyasa yoga, designed for all body types. My classes provide a judgment-free environment where individuals of any shape, size, or experience level can explore movement and stillness with kindness and joy. With a background in physics and a strong interest in the science of yoga, from the anatomy of movement and the neuroscience of meditation, I incorporate curiosity, play, and self-compassion into each session. As a weightlifter, I also emphasize the importance of trusting your body and building resilience, both physically and mentally.
